Welcome
Welcome to my website. I am Max Coates and I have been racing Karts since the age of 8. I started driving at 4 years old in a barn, before moving outdoor and into the enthralling, action packed sport of Karting. Since starting in Karts I have polished my racing skills and am one of the most experience drivers in the country after competing at national, club and regional level for over 7 years. However at the age of 15, I have made the decision to start racing cars and next year I will compete in the Ginetta Junior Championship which is televised on ITV4 and supports the British Touring Car Championship.
I would like to thank my past sponsors for helping me become what I am today, but the team and I are looking for a title sponsor for next season. The team has already got together the cost for the car which is in creation at Ginetta in Leeds. However we can not afford the running costs for next season and therefore, we are looking for a title sponsor for next season. Please don’t hesitate to get in contact with the team if you are interested at any level in sponsoring me for next season or if you have any queries. Please e-mail rob@scorton.com
Thank you for coming to maxcoatesracing.co.uk and enjoy looking around my website.

Next year I will be racing in the all new Ginetta G40 in the Ginetta junior championship. The series a support class in the popular British Touring Cars. The races will have TV and media coverage, attracting sponsors and the best young talent in the country. The aim is to compete in this championship to boost my profile and further my career with the hope of reaching the higher echelons of professional motorsport. The TV coverage has 7 million viewers in the UK alone, with 70 million across 10 continents on terrestrial and satellite television programs. In addition to the TV viewers, large spectator audiences are expected to attend each meeting. 325,000 people attended all of last years meetings.
The car is new for next year and features the successful 1.8 ford zetec engine with many parts carried over from the G50 car. The car is also road legal and will have 2 seats giving the team the ability to take sponsors guests the experience the thrill of driving a race car. More on the car can be seen by looking at the cars brochure, alternatively you could come to the Autosport show in January where the car will be revealed.
