2022 MINI CHALLENGE
IN 2022 MAX COATES AND GRAVES MOTORSPORT ARE RACING IN THE MINI CHALLENGE. THE CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE NEW MINI IN THE UK, ENJOYING GREAT GRIDS, COLOURFUL CARS, AND CLOSE RACING.
The MINI CHALLENGE is one of the BTCC support races, cementing its status as a natural stepping-stone for drivers with their sights set on the British Touring Car Championship.
As a true single make/model championship scrutineering controls mean that fairness is maintained so that drivers and teams can be sure that only skill and legitimate knowledge will have a bearing on race results.
Budgets are also kept under control through restrictions on testing, tyre use and widespread use of control parts in areas where any performance advantage could be gained.
CALENDAR & RESULTS
In 2021 Max will race in the MINI CHALLENGE with Graves Motorsport. Supporting the BTCC he will be racing in-front of 38,000 people at events and millions live on ITV4. See the dates and information below.

GRAVES MOTORSPORT
Graves Motorsport is a family-owned, Colchester-based racing team specialising in the MINI Challenge. They have won in both the JCW and Cooper classes.
Graves Motorsport was established by David Graves as part of his competition in the production BMW Championship. He duly won the series and now the team competes in the MINI CHALLENGE and EnduroKA.
The team aim to race in the British Touring Car Championship.
